Since two years I'm working with my company in the area of startups and innovation. Since one year I also help corporates to discover new business opportunities by using Lean Startup principles. After dozens of projects I realized that the way most established companies are structered doesn't work for real innovation. All organizations have their own challanges and need solutions that fit to their culture and market.In this book I found excelent examples of companies that do the innovation game right and also some that don't get it. It helps me very much to have the most important case studies in one place. Within my projects I can then use analogies and test possible solutions.Thanks!
Das Buch geht über die Fragen hinaus warum die Großen die Kleinen manchmal überholen können wenn Sie es denn schaffen über den eigenen Schatten zu springen und mit traditionellem Denken aufzuräumen. Nicht immer hat das Buch recht aber es gibt positive Inspiration und an der einen oder anderen Stelle auch faktisch untermauert Beweise dafür, daß es möglich sein kann in unüberschaubaren Strukturen aufzuräumen. Ich bin überzeugt, daß es Dinge gibt, die große Strukturen besser stemmen können und daß es Themen gibt die in Start-Ups rund laufen. Wer mit Brechen und Biegen versucht alles unter einen Hut zu packen geht mglw. am Ende leer aus, deswegen ist es von Fall zu Fall notwendig ist Risiko und Chance abzuwägen. Dazu leistet das Buch einen sehr guten Beitrag.
Das Buch ist genial und nicht nur für Großunternehmen geeignet sondern auch für kleine Unternehmen oder sogar StartUps. Ich habe selbst gerade ein StartUp gegründet und parallel in einem Großkonzern gearbeitet und zwei Welten erlebt. Die mir bekannten Lean StartUp Bücher sind mir alle zu schwammig und in diesem (Hör-) Buch werden konkrete Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Dieses Buch kann der Grundstein einer neuen Innovationsprozesses werden und die Unternehmenskultur nachhaltig verändern!!!Ich hoffe viele Unternehmen lesen/hören dieses Buch und setzten zumindest Ansätze davon um. Ohne Innovation und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklungen können Unternehmen nicht mehr lange überleben, die Zeiten und die Menschen (vor allem GenY/Z) haben sich geändert und in den nächsten Jahren werden sich viele Branchen umschauen müssen. Ich hoffe, dass unter den Gewinnern auch ein paar deutsche Unternehmen sein werden! Auch wenn in einigen Branchen die Schlacht bereits entschieden ist so gibt es noch viele Chancen, ich wünsche Ihnen allen viel Erfolg, Mut und Tatendrang!
Ich - und meine Tochter (ein echter "early adopter") haben das Buch direkt nach Veröffentlichung gelesen und bis heute komme ich immer wieder darauf zurück.Trevor Owens beschreibt sehr konkret wie man Lean Startup Prinzipen in einer großen Organisation gut einbindet. Von Fragen zu Prozessen, Governance bis hin zu Motivation von Mitarbeitern kann man viele Gedanken im täglichen Geschäft gut einbringen.
Sehr erzählend geschrieben. Ein umfassendes Buch über die Anwendung von Lean Startup in Unternehmen. Die Tipps beschränken sich nicht nur auf praktische Tipps für agile Teams, sondern berücksichtigen auch den Kontext in größeren Unternehmen.
Die Autoren haben einen umfassenden Leitfaden veröffentlicht, der bestehenden Unternehmen dabei helfen kann, wieder etwas "Startup-Wind" in die eigenen Strukturen zu bekommen. Ein durchaus interessanter Ansatz, den heute immer größer werdenden Bedarf an Innovationen anzugehen.
I really enjoyed reading the book as it provides detailed knowledge an very good examples on corporate entrepreneurship initiatives. I fully recommend it to anyone who is looking for insights on how to develop your incubation program.
